Hose Fittings
Hose fittings are critical for connecting hoses to equipment and piping systems. The C4 series fittings from CAST feature “leak-free, high-safety, and easy compatibility” as core principles, covering diverse connection types and scenarios:
Classification and Structure
24° Tapered Fittings: Compliant with ISO 8434-1 standards, such as 8009 (male thread straight fitting) and 8010 (O-ring swivel nut straight fitting). Designed for metric threads, these fittings utilize dual sealing via a 24° tapered face and O-ring, supporting maximum working pressures up to 450 bar. Commonly used in hydraulic valve manifolds and cylinder connections.
JIC 37° Flare Fittings: Compliant with SAE J514 standard, models 8016 (male thread straight fitting), 8017 (crimp-type swivel nut). Features American UNF threads and 37° flare sealing, suitable for medium-to-high pressure systems.
60° Taper Fittings: Compliant with BS 5200 standard, such as 8024 (internal taper straight fitting) and 8027 (crimp-on swivel nut). Available in imperial/metric threads with 60° taper sealing, suitable for low-to-medium pressure applications.
ORFS Fittings: Compliant with SAE J1453 standard, models 8042 (male thread straight fitting), 8043 (female thread swivel nut). Features flat seal and O-ring design for zero leakage risk. Maximum working pressure 445 bar. Suitable for high-pressure precision hydraulic systems.
Quick-Connect Fittings: Series 8084/8085/8086. Tool-free manual operation; assembly/disassembly via unlocking sleeve. Suitable for space-constrained or frequent-change applications. Example: Series 8084 DN12 fitting PN350 bar, L1 (length) 55.5 mm.
