Standard ferrule
1. Structure and Working Principle
Featuring a double-edged geometric design, this system requires no welding, tapered threads, or flaring. During installation, tightening the nut drives the ferrule to deform along a 24° tapered surface, forming two cutting edges on the steel pipe surface.
First cutting edge (visible): Raises the pipe's outer diameter upward, directly achieving a watertight seal while preventing sleeve loosening—the core defense line for sealing.
Second cutting edge (hidden): Located inside the sleeve, it balances overall stress distribution, absorbs pipeline vibrations, and prevents excessive penetration into the pipe, safeguarding the structural integrity of the steel pipe.
2. Key Characteristics
Working Pressure: LL Ultra-Light (suitable for low-to-medium pressure environments up to 100 bar), L Light (up to 500 bar), S Heavy (high-temperature applications and pressures up to 800 bar).
Material Options: Carbon steel, stainless steel.
